That might be because investors think its still significantly overvalued.
There are loads of decent metal producers with big projects now trading at less than $100m market cap on the ASX.
CDU has a market cap of $360m and hasn't, as far as I'm aware, produced anything. Also I assume its going to need further funding to get to production.
Therefore, I wouldn't assume that the shorters have malice aforethought. They are probably very rational.
Anyway, time will tell who is right
