Correlating shorts against long positions taken over a predetermined period and volume would be an interesting exercise.

I did an analysis on my Meta stock program at one time
using a combination of exactly the same trading indicators i.e volume ,accumulation money, flow, RSI, Stochastic ect,
ect, .

What it showed was that you are about five times more likely
to make a successful trade, shorting than going long.

In other words fear is far greater than greed, witness the people who get trampled to death at various football stadiums over the years.

Of course the Institutional traders and insiders who are working these"Dark pool " money scams are all to aware of this fact in their trading algorithms.
