    For mass market wearables, it’s unlikely that the consumer will care whether a blood pressure reading is peripheral or central if only because they wouldn’t even be aware of the different measures. Unless of course Mobvoi is going to invest in a large advertising campaign aimed at educating the consumer around this single feature, which apart from being very costly would be unlikely as it’s just one function within the wearable device.

    I truly believe the wearables market is slipping away from CDX/Mobvoi, competing against massive global brand names like Samsung is hard enough at the best of times but now having conceded first mover advantage… playing catch-up against an established Samsung BP wearable is going to be extraordinarily tough.
