I doubt they are idiots. It's been very methodical and suggestive of accumulation, and the pattern behaviour has been largely text book since the trend reversal. Investors have a long journey ahead, we know what this is going to do over the next few years, but we also need enthusiasm from traders, and they would love the predictability coming into the chart.
Good synergy and no need to rush ahead lest we leave behind the people that make up the volumes necessary.
