The tech side of this company seems to be solid, but in my opinion their social media marketing is an embarrassment. Sorry to bang on about this but they need to step up their game. The youtube channel name is the least of their problems. As I pointed out previously, the Conneqt Health channel has virtually no subscribers. It's now 39, up one from when I last mentioned it. One of those subscribers is me, and if you take out other shareholders and company employees how many would be left.
The video view count is miserable. I understand that instructional videos aimed solely at device owners will not have massive views at this stage, but where are all the promotional videos aimed at people searching youtube for advice on how to monitor your blood pressure/heart health and which device to buy? I can see three that fit this category:
89 views, 226 views and 1.1k views.
Let's go one by one, in order of views.
89 views. A lot of jargon and buzzwords. Not one mention of "Blood Pressure monitor". You know, that term that people interested in buying a device are actually using to search with. Then we see the clearest indication that when it comes to social media marketing, these guys have no clue: "comments are turned off". Yes, the last thing you want when trying to sell a product is interested parties asking questions. Next video.
A product demo. Cool. They couldn't be bothered to add audio. Or any kind of on-screen description or explanation. More buzzwords in the description that nobody is actually searching for, and again no mention of "blood pressure". No link to the Conneqt website. Pathetic. But at least comments are turned on this time.
Lastly, the most popular video on the channel with a whopping 1.1k views. There's a link to the website! Comments are on! And in amongst all the jargon and buzzwords, do I see the term "blood pressure"? Hmmm. The most popular video - by far - actually used the "Blood Pressure" keywords. Imagine if they could only include it in the video title!
Honestly guys, I have been invested in this company for a long time but I am losing my confidence in their ability to actually sell the product. Everything I have pointed out in this post is inexcusable for a company of this size.
