i am inclined to agree with @kenjicool. cdx makes up a large % of my portfolio and i could be using the tied up funds elsewhere.
on the other hand people like @valvesound, whom i have great respect for, have said publicly that they are holding and have not sold a single share. that was some time ago so things may have changed. valves average i believe to be a lot lower than mine so he would still be showing a paper profit.
so at the end of the day, it wont hurt to hang on until the next announcement.
