Hi Lev, Stapes
Here's a snapshot of the current order book:
Today we've seen 8 ASX crossings, 3 XT reported to ASX & 6 Chi crossings (all except one Chi order formed a part of a trade that also took liquidity from the ASX).
There are only 3 Chi orders in the queue however.
The sellside is stacked with 9 day old orders over 50% above the touch.
The bid is similarly stacked however with more smaller orders also far from the touch.
These orders were placed by the same entity as per colour coding below
The larger Asks have been adjusted down however are still well away from the touch.
Cumulatively netting the book on an order value basis, the result is linear up to 55c.
It is highly unlikely that this has occurred by chance - it's a made market
The good news is this volume profile. The buyside is stronger then the sell up to 55c (and if history is anything to go by, I expect many sell orders will retreat or be pulled in a rally)
