Gekko- logically whatever number you had in your head before last week's announcement shouldn't be influenced by that announcement because really it just confirmed that the meeting with COC that the company promised as far back as March had finally taken place (perhaps one question could be why it took so long to organise). The real question, which could be put to the company at the AGM, is how receptive were BSI-COC to the company's new information, and in particular that ' systematic literature review' that OSL has claimed shows statistical significance for the device. If COC bought the approach and the statistics hold up, perhaps they're still in with a shout. But if COC think it's shonky (say they don't agree with the comparisons that have been made or the statistics), this may not end well. Would be nice to see that literature review in detail and how they went about it. If there's anybody on this forum who understands CE process and whether asking a company to submit another clinical evaluation report in this situation is grounds for optimism, perhaps they can let us all know.
