I have now done some more research since my post this morning and I am now confident that Agri has made the right choice. Ethanol in Australia is not viable at the moment due to various reasons. The shares I think have been getting sold down by European Sophisticated investors who don't like Agri's Ethanol plans because they know it is not a viable business in Australia. I now think the announcement Friday will be positive for the stock price. The Beatrice plant is a low cost plant compared to other plants in the industry which is a big advantage over its competitors. I also have a lot of money invested in Natural Fuels (over $300,000) and I believe that both Agri and Natural Fuels are going to be good viable businesses. Natural Fuels is looking at now buying an established BioDiesel plant in the USA rather than building a plant in Houston. Now that Agri is out of the Ethanol business for the moment might now be an attractive proposition for Natural Fuels to make a takeover offer for Agri.
