"Once the bastion of culture and democracy, the nation is now,not only fiscally bankrupt but morally as well.Essentially a communist state by many definitions."
Hang on a minute, since when was asking and respecting the views of your citizens on a subject of national importance undemocratic? You get the feeling that the majority of Europeans are opposed to this, from the supposed beneficiaries in southern Europe, to those who will have to pay for it, some from countries with a financial interest of their own (like the Germans) and some completely uninvolved (like the Slovakians). The political classes appear to almost universally support it, but its an agenda driven by unelected Eurocrats in Brussels, with further centralization of power (their power) as its main goal.
So who are the "communists"?
