The Clean Energy Council has its National Conference in Adelaide May 3-5th.
I don't know if ERJ will have any representation at this conference or not. I would have thought it to be an ideal venue to network with the top movers and shakers in Government and Industrial energy circles. For sure this would have been a must attend if ERJ is to make its presence felt and stand a chance of getting a slice of Kevins $20 billion clean energy pie!

Lets hope someone from ERJ is attending and flying the ERJ flag for future growth and shareholders.

According to the Clean Energy Council, Australia is poised on the brink of a clean energy revolution - over $20 billion worth of clean energy investment over the next decade.

Given the unprecedented development about to be unleashed, the organisation says this year's Clean Energy Council National Conference will be the biggest in Australia's history and is expected to attract over 700 delegates. The National Conference is geared towards those in the business of investing in, building, developing, researching or buying clean energy and its technologies.

The event will be held in Adelaide from May 3-5 this year and experts from overseas and within Australia will be providing guidance on the direction of clean energy policy needed, financing for clean energy projects, the state of international climate change negotiations and a detailed assessment of the progress of the range of clean energy technologies.

Some of the key highlights include:

    - The Chief Executive of AGL, Michael Fraser, will report on the progress of the enhanced Renewable Energy Target and outline the importance of the immediate implementation of this crucial policy reform and what is still needed to get the enhanced RET across the political line.

    - Phil Hirschhorn and Larry Alberts from Boston Consulting Group will update delegates on clean energy policy in China.

    - Secretary General of the Global Wind Energy Council, Steve Sawyer, will review the fallout from the Copenhagen climate change negotiations.

    - Insights into North American developments in clean energy policy and US capital markets.

    - The Director General of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership from Vienna will inform on the evolution of renewable energy in Europe in the wake of the global financial crisis.

A number of technology sessions will also take place on the topics of:

    1) Deemed renewables a platform for stable growth
    2) Wind product development power stations of the 21st century
    3) Geothermal - getting the technology to market
    4) Bioenergy scaling up behind the RET
    5) Wind strategies needed to maximise deployment
    6) Large scale solar coming to a desert near you?
    7) Grid the challenge of connecting
