I think you are on the money Jak ( or you soon will be )
A lot of people would have been getting set on MNM since the MS announcement - finance would have been organised prior to getting to that stage IMO. IK didn't go OS for a holiday, it was surely to sign some documents in relation to MS and finalise the agreement for some sort of funding arrangement.
Hopefully he is busily working on another carefully worded announcement which one would think should be ready in the next few days. I will be looking for a quick spike in SP next week also, followed by an announcement or a TH until the announcement is completed.
Plenty must be happening behind the scenes re coal also.
