    Hi Ty Cat Mac,
    I could write a whole novel on why BR might be interested in pushing the share price down. There is a plethora of information on why fund managers might do this. Making profits from shorting a stock & taking shares from weak hands are likely motivations in this instance. Like you said, BR might be in it for the 'long haul', therefore, do they care if the price is driven down?
