Thorney hasn't bought any since April 2015 when they became substantial, Silviu's trading history involves selling 6m shares in 2007 at 2.23, then buying 5000 shares on market in 2008 at 1.11.
His sells were better than his buys!
Teva (14.6% owners) have just baulked at spending another $13m on the CHF trial to get it to the 2nd interim, it should be viewed as highly unlikely they would support a rights issue whilst Celgene haven't taken up their right of first refusal so their participation should also be in question.
So that's 17.75+14.62+5.07+4.01 = 41.45% of the register who likely either lack the capacity or the will to support a cap raising - which probably explains why they have got this death spiral facility - there is no alternative.
