In the last Annual Report, the exact same parcel of shares (5.854M) was listed under ownership by California Capital Equity Llc. CCE is owned by Patrick Soon-Shiong, the guy who made a squillion selling Abraxis to Celgene in 2010. Now it looks like Celgene has jumped on board with ACL, buying CCE's stake in the company.
Celgene bought Abraxis for $2.9 billion when it had $314.5 million revenue.
I didn't realize we had such heavy hitters in the company.
Mmmm-mmmm...this is sounding better by the day!
