Do you know what a prophylactic regimen is??
The start of the RCT in this case isn’t even treating children whom have begun to develop aGVHD…..
It’s different to what Mesoblast’s therapy is doing…..
Mesoblast’s therapy isn’t a prophylactic. It’s given to children whom already have gotten very sick with aGVHD. And yes, a RCT is very unethical in these cases.
