The Sept 2020 stats compared with Sept 2021 stats are somewhat of an eye opener in the USA .... here is one example - just have a look at the case/death numbers year on year leading into the fall and the colder months in the USA for 2021 .... even with more than 60% fully vaccinated in Florida
Can't imagine trying to run a COVID-19 ARDS trial effectively if this trajectory continues in the USA in most states as we know it all went pear shaped last year around Oct/Nov ..... I guess I would have a lot more confidence if Novartis were running it but still it 'looks' like being right in the midst of overrun hospitals / stressed medical staff again if OTAT approve the potency assays in Q4
