big differences here in approach as this is an autologous stem cell being delivered via injection directly into damaged heart tissue while MSB's approach is using off-the-shelf allogeneic stem cells delivered via IV. I'm assuming that the process for this treatment will involve both extraction of stem cells from patient's bone marrow, then possibly growing the cells and finally injecting them into the patient's heart tissues. this approach is complex to both perform and manage for consistency. And at the same time we are talking about putting an already seriously I'll CHF patient under a stress laden bone marrow extraction process. overall it doesn't pass the smell test. but always wonderful if it works of course.
