if anyone intested in the layoffs etc it might be worth having a look over the 2026 fda budget. Breaks it all down at cber. Fte. The user fees. Where the funding is allocated. Their kpi. Not massive reductions.
It seems the reviewers were rehired and allot of cuts of were things like the entire tobacco division and press . And outside fda wider cuts in Health regulation, disease control, climate change health research and so on. But do agree nicole is big loss
Maybe not as much expertise lost where it counts.
