Ty for your words and my sincere condolences on the loss of your dad. I don't think the pain ever goes away you just learn to deal with it or accept it. I've always found music to help me. It's like when people talk about getting closure after trauma ....and I often think ... what are they talking about closure isn't the be all and end all and at times it can actually have the opposite effect ....like people saying that for a person once 'getting closure' it's all supposed to be fine and you don't think of it again or it doesn't affect you ....which is total fiction etc etc ... I'm going to put up a couple of songs for you and a couple of stories to go along but I'll do it on the banter thread and tag you ...hope you enjoy and they might remind you of times with your dad ...and yes they are true snippets from my life.
