This morning's sunrise programme had an interesting piece on the research being conducted at Flinders University (Adelaide) on a COVID-19 vaccine. The interview focussed on how the researchers had to obtain funding from overseas to further it's research and it was revealed that $10 million was required to expedite the research. Koch asked how much the Aussie government had chipped in.......the response was $0. Needless to say that this is going a bit viral at the moment with the Sunrise team trying to grab who ever they can from government to explain why this is the case.

I have contacted sunrise and congratulated them on the interview....I also suggested that if they wanted another example of technology that has the potential to be a game changer and save lives, they should have a look at other aussie research from Mesoblast.
