You're right, completely slipped my mind that they've got placebos in there.
Going by what has been stated so far current survival rates range anywhere in between 10-30% on the patients treated. For an overall 75% survival rate the placebo group would require a minimum 50% survival rate (assuming 100% efficacy for MSB treatment) which is unlikely.
Poor writing, disappointing.
