I was just thinking about that story about the child that was treated with Ryoncil for MIS-C and the early management of that patient and how he showed some improvement. While the standard of care has improved, they mentioned using high dose aspirin as well as other therapies. These therapies especially high dose aspirin is incredibly dangerous in the paediatric cohort and one side effect of aspirin in children is developing Reye’s syndrome. Provided the results are good in the upcoming trial, I expect to see Ryoncil to become an earlier treatment modality in the MIS-C setting as it carries no safety concerns and appear to be much more effective when compared to the current standard of care
