And that's probably a sensible middle ground.
If the treatment has unquestionably good outcomes then the FDA will approve, i'm sure. But if there's any shadow of a doubt, I suspect they'll defer until that doubt is removed.
MSB get to pursue their treatment. And big pharma buy more time to dig more dirt.
The can gets kicked along.
