Thanks @Mani86 for posting. It’s funny but I had already seen this a while back BUT I enjoyed watching again AND my eyes fell upon another YouTube clip featuring Dr Huan Bae (dr from your posted clip). Now viewing the clip, in today’s context, I picked up on Dr Bau’s comment about surgeons. May have done a little happy dance after hearing what he said.

Gist of it: Surgeons are notorious for being conservative. They know their stuff. They know what they do works for their patients. Change in their practice only happens if they are convinced that it will be better for their patients, otherwise they stick to their considered tried & tested ways. Change can be resisted until they are convinced.

Now if my memory is correct, didn’t a group of surgeons invest $110 million in Mesoblast? Not one surgeon convinced but a whole group. Convinced enough to even be on the company’s board. For that amount of cash, I’d say they are more than convinced!
