CEO Itescu does get more than a mention, and so does Mesoblast, but reviewer Miguel Forte's comments on the interplay of 'Tony' and 'Silviu' need some careful listening IMO. His key message was MSCs do work, & the key question was how to optimise the function of MSCs and how to optimise the patients that would get the best benefit of the MSCs. He thought it was interesting how 'Tony' reviewed MSB's study & found impressive 'detail of the immunology of the response of the body, namely age as well, & the effect of the MSCs'.
As I heard it, the excitement of the ISCT congress participants about the MSB results and post-hoc analysis is clear. Need to listen to it again.
