As a guy who avoided two major surgeries through one stem-cell therapy done in 'rooms' and one in a day clinic my evidence is anecdotal but if seems the trend is moving that way. Why have the massive costs and liabilities involve when you can move away your case revenues away from big risks like general anesthesia, to simple walk-in, walk-out surgeries (re CLBP). My partner has run day hospitals in Sydney for over a decade and its a slow but steady trend of cases moving from major overnight hospitals to day surgeries from talking to her over the years....why risk surgeries when you can use injectables.
