Was speaking with someone today that has had cancer ( forget the actual name but a form of blood cancer), anyway they tell me they are now in remission. They were treated at the Pete Mac centre in Melbourne. Anyway the lady in mabye her late 60s early 70s was telling me she was treated at the Pete Mac centre with stem cells. These being her own stem cells from her bone marrow. I wonder given her age, why they didnt use someone elses stem cells??. Anyway she says it worked and now she is in remission.
