Well, the MPC/ MSC cells are not neutrophils. They have never engrafted, in any patient, in the entirety of Mesoblast’s existence. That’s part of the reason why they’re so safe. Their job is to maintain the viability of neutrophils.
FDA knows both these things. And they can see the preliminary clinical evidence of effect. They demonstrate that recognition by issuing to us RMAT designations, Orphan Drug designations, Priority Review vouchers, Rare Paediatric Disease vouchers & so on.
But, if you believe him, it remains all ‘magic’ to him, and others who can’t/ won’t conceptualise, don’t explore and share research, & apparently don’t understand how cells talk generally, paracrine effects in the human body (much less endocrine effects). How our cells teach and learn things.
Like talking at a dinosaur. Or listening on an AM channel. I’ve switched off, completely.
