I was speaking to a contact last evening who advised me that Cellular Dynamics had no prior knowledge that FujiFilm were interested in the company until they came along and slapped down the takeover price - no prior due diligence or anything was conducted. This type of activity must bode well for a company like CYP which is still very low market cap with standout technology in stem cells. The link of Igor being the co-founder at both companies must elevate the profile of CYP if not previously known. No doubt interesting times ahead.
