    You know 99plonko, it's hard these days getting a p/t or f/t job! Not to mention those with no skills perhaps and having young children with no support, such as grandparents to watch the kids or an absent second parent (mother or father).

    But i must recollect to a conversation my retail manager had said years ago; that she didn't want to hire single mothers with young children because she (with her assumptions) thought that they weren't as productive and made too many excuses compare to those with older children or no children at all! So there is some discrimination in even the dodgiest of jobs out there!

    Makes me wonder what those poor women are thinking? I could not imagine being a single parent.... it must be terribly exhausting and mentally draining to know society judges you no matter what. And how about those who stay with abusive partners.... god imagine what they're thinking... i just hope someone is watching kindly over them.
