It's not necessarily discrimination, I think Islam cops far more stick than Christianity. This is a discussion forum and because Christianity has the biggest footprint and 99% of religious posters on HC are promoting some flavour of Christianity, they get some push back.
The second point is that you are comparing a culture that includes spiritual beliefs to a Westernised religion that has not been a good experience for any indigenous groups. Christianity has been cultural genocide in many places.
As for left wingers and pick and choose cultures, not sure why you threw that in. It's probably a standard put-down you use from time to time.
Anyway, Christianity has much to answer for and they are not some sacred cow and they are certainly not a belief system that needs to be preserved at all cost.
