    The 2020 to 2022 data would make for very interesting reading indeed. Generally in times of crisis, people flock towards any organization that may have an answer to the age old question of human suffering. Traditionally, this would include such things as religion, philosophy, medicine (or its offshoots like psychology) and politics/revolution. Medicine is in its own crisis, similar to religion, perhaps more so. Politics is at an all time low as populations realize they have virtually no power to affect positive change. Philosophy is too varied to be considered one entity.

    Some of my guesses for the future:

    Medicine will move right away from drugs and towards the use of electricity in altering tissue blueprints for repair and regeneration.
    Religion and philosophy will undergo a resurgence, and it will be driven in large part by social media. It will have a very different flavour, however.
    Politiciics will be forced to become less partisan and more in line with what you might call particpatory democracy.
