A year ago JMS sp was 10x that of HAW, now it is about 40x the price. That's the difference of management that try to add value compared to those who let things meander along hoping to benefit from the efforts of neighbour's actions.
HAW management showed their belief in their own ability by announcing drilling to commence at Mt Bevan at the end of April last year, then selling 94m shares into the small rally.
JMS will most likely offer shares to get Mt Bevan, as has been shown by their recent deals. Unless HAW can add significant value to HAW soon, any deal will severely disadvantage holders.
The only way to get value back into HAW shares is through proving up resources before any offer is put on the table.
Just my take on events so far, you may see it differently.
