Better to get a partner in before moving to the next step . Looks like that is what BNK are doing with their Gapowa well in Poland .
Cuadrilla need a household name on board to take some of the heat off them . Many in the establishment blame Lord Browne for the Macondo and Texas refinery incidents .
Things might happen quicker now .
You've got to admire Laidlaw . Got in before everyone else for LNG shipments from Cheniere in the US and now it looks like he's reserved 30% of the best shale acreage in the UK .
Perhaps there would be some sort of agreement between Cuadrilla and Centrica that they would apply jointly for blocks in the forthcoming 14th onshore round .
