I am cautiously optimistic and did find that particular comment in the AFR article intriguing. I don't know how JPM have measured that profit, whether it is on a P&L or Balance Sheet; so we need more information which will not come until next Friday. I would also discount the last paragraph in that article. All they have to do is address the ratio and the modelling.
