    some really good comments. I have been vocally/verbally wondering about the cross ownership issue in a few of my posts on the CNP forum.

    Even though it appears to be only a few dozen properties I wouldn't say it is insignificant.

    I think that "perceptions" (and believe me I hate that word)are counting for a lot. Despite the ring-fencing of debt with CER and the FACT that CNP is a significantly higher risk than CER, perceptibly a comparison of the risk levels between the two organisations is irrelevant in my opinion, even with respect to making a risk-assessed investment decision.

    I believe either both CNP and CER will survive or both will not. One surviving over the other seems just too unlikely to me.
