Centro Properties Group announces new Kroger store

Centro Properties Group has announced the midpoint of the construction for grocery-store retailer The Kroger Co. at Green Acres Shopping Center, a neighborhood center currently under
redevelopment, located at the intersection of State Highway 58 and Hemmeter Road in Saginaw, Mich.

Kroger will occupy a 72,000 square foot store. This new location will be the largest Kroger in the Saginaw, Midland, Bay City area. Kroger will also operate a fuel center within the shopping center. The new Kroger store, with plans to open in late 2008 or early 2009, is being constructed on the southwest corner of the shopping center.

Centro Properties Group has made several improvements to the center, which include the restructuring of the parking field, new concrete islands, parking lot lights, landscaping, paving, and a new storefront canopy throughout the center.
