"The chief executive of shopping centre owner Centro Properties Group, Glenn Rufrano, advised yesterday that he is stepping down. Tony Clarke, the company's Australian chief, also told the board yesterday that he would not renew his contract in February 2010. Analysts report that contenders for Mr Rufrano's job include Westfield Group's managing director Bob Jordan, Stockland retail chief executive John Schroder, Colonial First State's head of property Darren Steinberg and Macquarie Countrywide chief executive Steven Sewell.
