Of course if you ring up the company now and ask if an agreement has been reached, they are not confirm that statement.

They are not going to tell you an agreement has been reached until it is announced.

In the WA article, the only time the Centro spokesperson is quoted was as follows:

"We are continuing discussions with our lenders," a Centro spokesman told AAP.

I got the same response from Investor Services this morning.

I reckon Malcolm is more likely to be on the money than someone who has tried getting information directly from the company before it is announced.
