The syndicates are separate entities to CNP. The extension of the loans to the syndicates has no direct bearing on the ability of CNP to get an extension.
CNP has taken on more than a prudent level of debt - one major item - 100% of the US joint venture debt of $3.1B.
The syndicates can survive just fine even if CNP falls over.
