Centro cant repay the debt owed. The banks arent going to be lending any more to Centro for liquidity unlike last time. Without liquidity, Centro will be unable to operate. They can't sell properties for what they need to to repay debt. Credit markets have dried up - banks cannot borrow money to lend. The property market is only going to get worse resultantly as no-one will be able to buy.

We are more likely than ever to see the banks move now to try to get back what they can before the property market dies completely. When this happens, shareholders will get back nothing.
