I recall reading on here last week where somebody said that they had heard from somebody in the know that the deal for Centro Southport, I believe the wording used was "in the bag".

Today when I was reading the AFR, something which I rarely do, I noticed there was an advertisement advertising the property for sale with a closing date of 11 September.

To those who read the paper more often than I, has the property been advertised previously.

I was just surprised to see this as rumours dating back to May suggested that a deal had been done on the property and that Centro was in exclusive negotiations with selected parties.

Could this mean that "deals" done in the past have fallen over?
