in many peoples minds CNP was a 50/50 proposition as to whether it would even survive up until last night.

the odds have just swung 95/5 imho. people need to realise that CNP do not have to repay all of their debt, they just need to refinance it and pay back sufficient to satisfy the lenders. almost every major company carry's debt, TLS, BHP, WDC, TAH - ALMOST every blue chip company has debt...

last year CNP paid a 37cps dividend. now it is trading at 38cps! there is every chance that 2-3 years down the track CNP will again be paying good dividends! now that the risk of going broke has virtually been allayed what do you think the shareprice is going to do?

this could give $1 a shake on monday imho....

dont be too quick to sell people!
