The directors also have to be careful of conflicts of interest. They are clearly party to numerous price sensitive discussions surrounding asset sales, equity injections and even take overs. In the lead up to the results announcements, they would almost certainly be in a blackout period. After the results we may see something.
Whilst it would be a very positive signal to have directors buying, I think we should be comfortable with the fact that (aside from Healy and Scott) we haven't seen a mass exodus of board or senior management staff.
