Glenn is obviously a man of integrity who has his priorities well established and aligned with the demands of his job.
Directors purchasing shares may improve market sentiment and the confidence levels of current shareholders but given the stock is trading at less than 5% of its previous highs it may be seen as opportunistic rather than an expression of faith in the company.
I also agree with Swap's comments about price sensitive information, which would contribute to the complexity of the issue.
It seems to me that all concerned are handling the situation extremely professionally.
