Whilst I agree with you on some of the fishy sales and purchases of shares, you can't really blame the directors for the timings of announcements.
Generally listed companies don't get to decide when they make announcements, they must do it at the earliest possible convenience.

It was probable that they had the info early and so couldn't sit on it for a while, so had to get it out.
