CEO of most successful companies hold a large stake. Look at Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and the list goes on.
I think if AGL’s CEO owned a big parcel, or at least started picking up shares at current bargain prices, the market would have a lot more confidence. I’m not asking much from someone who’s on multimillion dollar income. I hope this is something that share holders raise and discuss with the board on annual meetings.

Shareholders love to see that confidence from the board. Love to see that Board is in the game and cares as much as the shareholders if not more.

I’m not worried about my investment here as I personally believe it will come back up on day while I’m enjoying current generous dividends. But cannot stop thinking that if our CEO had more skin in the game, he would be fighting more.

Another upside about them buying shares is that every market update of a CEO or a board member buying shares happens to work out as a positive announcement for the market. and we really need some of that here, don’t we?
