All sounds good to me, and at least the pollies are listening, how much is the question, will they come to the party, we all know that pollies are full of it? but what metalstorm have done with the latest bull pup version of the 3GL makes perfect sense, I'm not saying they listened to me, or my comments? but this is what I wrote on the other thread ss afer seeing the demo of the 3GL being fired by Lee back in june, I was refering to how the firing position seemed cumbersome and allowed the rifle to twist slightly when the GL was engaged, due in my opinion to where the front hand gripped the weapon, which I though was too far back, I believed that the handgrip/trigger should have been moved further forward, and whallah, it has been!

That's what safety switches are for Tinkerbell, if you look at how the rifle sort of twisted slightly in Lee's grip, when looking at the shot taken from behind on his left hand side, I believe if the gtip was further forward in a similar position as to where the rifle is normally gripped it would overcome this instability, besides I think if the grip was further forward then it might negate the need to remove the rifles magazine as well!
And when it is used in the stand alone mode, if the grip was further forward then the butstock could be shorter as well IMHO which would mean the overall lenght of the stand alone weapon would also be shorter?
