I thought I would start another thread for this before it gets lost in all the other announcements.
When the CEO stumps up $400,000 of his own cash 1 week after the US paywall goes up, I sit up and pay attention. He must be confident in the US business succeeding. Have they been hit with a wave of US subscribers in the first week of the paywall?
By my rough calculations they only need 7,500 subscribers in the US to break even.
The light at the end of the tunnel may have just become a fraction brighter for long suffering shareholders. 2016 will be the most important year in Nearmap's history. Break even in the US and shareholders accumulating at these levels will be rewarded imho.
